What the apps can do

Your network does not run from behind a desk. ISPbox comes with two native iOS apps: ISPbox Field puts the technician's day - visits, tickets, client lookups and connection diagnostics - in their pocket, and the ISPbox subscriber app gives your customers self-service billing and support wherever they are. Both are included with every plan, and an Android version is coming soon.

ISPbox Field: built for the crew

Technicians see today's visits with customer address, phone and notes, mark them done or postpone them, and work through tickets with statuses, priorities, checklists and photo documentation. Client lookup shows PPPoE credentials, live online status, data usage and an access diagnosis that explains exactly why a connection is down. Provisioning changes made on site - router, IP, MAC - are pushed to RADIUS and the router by ISPbox.

ISPbox: self-service for subscribers

Subscribers see their balance, services and any open outage on one screen, pay invoices through your payment gateway, download invoice and receipt PDFs, track data usage, request plan changes and open support tickets with photo attachments. Push notifications cover staff replies and billing reminders.

QR sign-in and panel permissions

Staff sign in by scanning a one-time QR code from the panel, subscribers from the customer portal - no typing subdomains or passwords on a phone keyboard. What a staff member can see in the Field app follows the same permissions they have in the panel, so access control lives in one place.

02 Why this feature matters

Built for high-speed ISP operations

Faster Field Visits

Technicians see the day's visits with address, phone and job notes, navigate with one tap and close or postpone a visit without calling the office.

Diagnosis Before the Ladder

The Field app explains why a connection is down - manual block, unpaid invoice, seasonal pause or throttling - before anyone climbs a tower.

Fewer Calls to Your Office

Subscribers check their balance, pay invoices, follow outages and open tickets themselves instead of calling your support line.

One Source of Truth

Both apps talk to the same ISPbox backend as your panel, so field crews, office staff and subscribers always see the same data.

03 Use cases

Where ISP teams put this to work

  • Give technicians their daily agenda, tickets and client context in the field.
  • Update provisioning (router, IP, MAC) on site and let ISPbox push it to RADIUS.
  • Let subscribers pay invoices and track data usage from their phone.
  • Notify technicians about assigned tickets and subscribers about replies via push.

04 FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are the mobile apps included in the ISPbox price?
Yes. Both apps are free to download and included with every ISPbox plan - there are no per-seat or per-subscriber app fees.
Where can I download the apps?
ISPbox Field and ISPbox are available on the App Store for iPhone. An Android version on Google Play is coming soon.
How do technicians and subscribers sign in?
By scanning a one-time QR code: staff from the panel, subscribers from the customer portal. The code signs them into the right workspace without typing a subdomain or password.
Does the Field app respect staff permissions?
Yes. The Field app follows the same permissions a user has in the panel, so a technician sees only the modules you have given them access to.
