The formula used is: Runtime = (Battery Voltage × Battery Ah × Efficiency) / Load Watts.
We use a standard efficiency factor of 0.85 to account for inverter losses, wiring resistance, and battery aging.
Standard Lead-Acid and AGM batteries should typically not be discharged below 50% capacity to maximize their lifespan. Deep cycle (Gel/LiFePO4) batteries may allow for deeper discharge (80-100%).
