Can guests pay by card on the captive portal?

Yes. Stripe, PayPal, Square and Authorize.net work on the guest page, and the payment gateway domains are added to the walled garden for you.

Can I print vouchers for the front desk?

Yes. Create a batch of up to 1,000 codes for a plan, with a label and optional fixed expiry, and print the sheet. Each code shows its usage and can be revoked.

How the hotspot module works

Guest WiFi is a different product from a home subscription: strangers, short stays, phones and small amounts. ISPbox has a hotspot module built for that, on the same RADIUS and MikroTik setup you already run, so you do not need a second vendor for your venues.

Plans and vouchers

A plan has a validity that starts at first login or ends on a fixed date, a speed and a price, and optional limits: total data or download and upload apart, total online time, and devices per code. Free plans carry a reuse rule per device and per guest, such as once a day or once a week. Plans can be limited to certain sites.

Vouchers are created by a purchase, by staff for a guest, or in printable batches of up to 1,000 codes with a label and a print sheet. Codes can have a prefix, a chosen length and alphabet, and a shelf life for unused codes.

The guest page and payments

Each site uses a splash page with your theme, an optional welcome screen, the ways in you allow (code, free access, buy, phone or email sign-in with a one-time code), the details you want to collect, a marketing opt-in and terms of use. Guests pay with Stripe, PayPal, Square or Authorize.net; the order is finished once whether the confirmation comes from the return page, a webhook or the reconciliation sweep, and the guest gets a receipt link.

Guests have their own page where they see what is left on their codes, manage their devices, add a TV by MAC address and buy more.

Router setup and enforcement

Per site you choose the routers, hotspot server names and the splash page. A setup panel gives the RouterOS commands for the RADIUS client, the hotspot profile, the walled garden for the payment gateways and the login page, plus a live checklist that shows whether requests and accounting are arriving.

Every five minutes ISPbox reads accounting, starts the clock at first login, binds devices up to the limit, updates remaining data and time on the router, and disconnects codes that are used up or expired. Guests can get an SMS when most of their data or time is gone.

Speed, remaining data, remaining time and device count go to MikroTik through RADIUS. When a code runs out, the session is disconnected.

Phones Reconnect by Themselves

A device that used a code is remembered by its MAC address, so it reconnects silently for the rest of the plan.
