Running WiFi at a park

Campgrounds and RV parks have two kinds of WiFi users: guests staying a few nights who want to pay once and forget about it, and seasonal or full-time residents who want a normal monthly service. ISPbox handles both on the same network, and was built with an operator that runs WiFi at RV parks and marinas.

Short stays: passes and vouchers

Guests connect to the park SSID and land on the park's splash page. They buy a pass by card or PayPal, enter a voucher from the office, or use a free plan you allow once a day. Passes carry a speed, an optional data cap and a device limit per code, so one family's phones share a pass and a whole campsite does not.

Long stays: subscribers

A seasonal camper or a full-time resident can be a regular customer with a monthly or prepaid service, invoices, autopay and a customer portal to pay and open tickets. Their service is tied to the park location, so they are included when you message the park or open an outage there.
