Unpaid customers see a payment page instead of losing the connection

Per RADIUS router: blocked or expired PPPoE customers get an address from the router's Unauthorised pool and DHCP customers keep theirs. Any web page they open says the service is paused, with a link to pay in the portal; their CPE stays reachable from your network, and paying, unblocking or renewing restores the service at once. Router commands for RouterOS 6 and 7 are on the router page.

Network map: an empty base station can become a router

An empty base station or cabinet can be changed into any other point type. A site that still has devices says so, and a refused map action shows its reason in the editor instead of an error page.

Customers online without ping replies

Path monitoring no longer marks a customer down when their router drops ping but ISPbox sees them online. It shows "Online, no ping", says why (no route from the probe, a firewall that drops ping, or when it stopped answering) and raises no alert.

Payment due day per customer

Set the day of the month a customer's invoices fall due, for example the 21st, without changing their billing cycle. Autopay charges their saved card on that day, never earlier, and the invoice email tells them the date.

Fixes when deleting a user

Deleting a staff account no longer disconnects the Microsoft 365 mailbox it had connected, and tickets assigned to that account return to the unassigned queue.

Saved replies, merging duplicate tickets and a rating after closing

Write an answer once and insert it on any ticket with the customer's name and the ticket number filled in; keep a reply to yourself or share it with the team. Merge a ticket into another one when the same problem was reported twice: the whole conversation moves and later replies follow it. Switch on a one-question survey in Settings > Customer portal and customers rate support from 1 to 5 after their ticket is closed.

Your own fields on a customer

Add up to 20 fields of your own in Settings > Customer fields, as text, a number or a list of choices: a national ID, a building code, a contract reference. They show on the customer form and profile, and in the API.

Burst, night speed and one device per login

A package can burst above its speed for the first seconds of a download, switch to different speeds at night, and limit how many connections one PPPoE login may hold. A login can also be locked to the customer's device on the service page. All of it sits under "More speed options" on the package, closed until you need it.

Bulk plan change

Move many subscribers to another plan at once. Tick customers on the client list, pick the new plan and when it takes effect, and see what happens to every service before you confirm. Changes that are only booked can be taken back in one click.

Log in as customer

On a client's Customer Portal tab staff can now open the portal as that customer, without asking for their password, to see exactly what they see. A bar at the top shows it is a staff view and takes you back to the panel; the visit is written to the audit log.

Workflows (beta): routine work that does itself

Build your own automations as a tree of steps: pick what starts it (a ticket, an invoice three days from due, a failed card, a router offline, a finished visit), add checks and actions, and ISPbox does the follow-up. 64 triggers, 21 templates, a test run that sends nothing. Router changes are retried when the router does not answer

A disconnect or a speed change that a router did not answer is now sent again for about four hours, so a paused customer does not stay online until the next reconnect. If it never gets through, the service page shows a warning.

The router page now shows the MikroTik commands for a PPPoE or DHCP RADIUS router, builds the customer server from the router's pool, and has setup notes for other vendors.

Archive a client without deleting their services

When a customer leaves, archive them and the history stays: services, invoices, payments and tickets. Running services are switched off for you, and for each device you choose whether it is collected, stays at the address for the next customer or returns to stock.

Groups: route tickets and leads to a team

Create teams such as Office, Field techs or NOC and put a ticket, a lead or a task in a team's queue before any one person takes it. Members are notified, anyone can take the ticket with one click, and new tickets from the portal or email can land in a default group.

Add colleagues to a ticket next to its owner, each with a role such as Billing or Technical support. They get the customer's replies, and the side menu shows how many open tickets are yours, wait in your groups or have nobody yet.

Premises: a page for every home, lot and unit

A premise is a place you serve or could serve, with or without a customer: its address, the equipment installed there, its tickets and everyone who was connected before. Add them one by one, as a numbered range or from a spreadsheet, move a whole street from "Under construction" to "Ready" at once, and connect a customer from the premise page.

Equipment that stays with the address

An ONT can be installed at a premise before anyone orders service and stays there when a customer leaves; the next service at that premise takes it over by itself. Record a device's MAC address to see whether your routers see it, keep optical power and speed test readings from the install checklist, and reconcile received, installed, damaged and lost devices in Reports > Equipment.

Set up an agreement with a park, HOA or building owner: a percent of what was invoiced or paid, or a fixed amount per active service, with tiers and a minimum. ISPbox drafts a statement each month or quarter with one line per service and its active days, ready to approve, export and mark as paid.

Record a refund

When you give money back to a customer, the payment row on the client's Billing tab now has a Record refund button. It marks the payment as refunded and asks whether to void the invoice or keep it open. Works for card payments refunded at your payment provider and for cash, cheque and transfer payments.

Your own mailbox only

Settings > Mail can stop anything from leaving the ISPbox address: staff emails, alerts and reports then go only from your mailbox. A banner tells admins when that mailbox stops sending and how many emails did not go out.
