01 Feature Spotlight

Every Customer Touchpoint Under Your Own Brand

Subscribers should recognize your company, not the software behind it. ISPbox puts your name, logo and wording on invoices, emails and the portal, and serves all of it from your own domain.

  • Company name, logo and contact details on invoices, receipts and the portal
  • Invoice designer for layout, accent color, columns, labels and language
  • Customer portal on portal.yourisp.com with the certificate issued for you

Where the branding is set

Real screens from the product - the same views your team works in every day.

Design the invoice, watch it redraw

Layout, accent color, logo size, columns, totals rows and every label are settings, not a support ticket. The preview redraws on a sample invoice as you change them.

Client messages in your own words

Rewrite the portal invitation and every billing notice in a rich text editor, drop in placeholders like {client_name} and {portal_url}, and keep a separate version per client language.

One CNAME, then your own domain

Point a hostname at your workspace and ISPbox handles registration and the certificate. Once it is active, client emails and the {portal_url} placeholder switch to it.

What you can put your name on

Subscribers should recognize your company, not the software behind it. ISPbox keeps your name, logo and contact details on invoices and receipts, lets you rewrite every message a client receives, and serves the portal, status page and coverage checker from your own domain. Your ispbox.net address keeps working next to it, and none of this needs a bigger plan.

One company profile, used everywhere

Settings > Company holds the company or DBA name, tagline, billing email, support phone, website, tax ID and billing address, plus a logo upload (PNG or SVG, up to 1 MB). Those details print on invoices and payment receipts, head the customer portal, and appear on the public status page, the coverage checker and the hosted lead form. The same screen sets the account timezone and the default language for client email.

An invoice designer, not a fixed template

Settings > Invoices > Appearance opens a designer with a live preview of a sample invoice. Pick the Classic or Minimal layout, set an accent color, show or hide the logo and choose its size, decide which lines appear in the header and in what order, and switch paper size between A4 and Letter. The PDF language, date format and currency symbol position are separate settings, item table columns and totals rows are individually toggled, and any label can be renamed, so the document can read "TAX INVOICE" and "GST" instead of the defaults. You can download a sample PDF before saving; changes apply to invoices generated from then on and already issued PDFs are kept as they were.

Client messages you write yourself

The portal invitation, the invoice email, payment reminders, service blocked and payment received notices, failed automatic payment, data usage warnings, throttling notices and incident opened and resolved updates all have their own editor. Each one is rich text with placeholders such as {company}, {client_name}, {portal_url}, {password_setup_url} and {invoice_number}, and each can carry a separate version per client language, with the shipped translation as the fallback. Send a test email to yourself before you save. Outgoing mail is rendered in your company name and links back to your portal, and it leaves from your own mailbox once Microsoft 365 or SMTP is connected under Settings > Mail. SMS goes out through your own Twilio account.

The portal on your own domain

Add one CNAME record at your DNS provider pointing portal.yourisp.com at your ispbox.net address, then enter the hostname in Settings > Company. ISPbox registers it and the TLS certificate is issued automatically. From then on the customer portal, the public status page, the coverage checker and the staff panel all answer on that hostname, next to your ispbox.net address, and client emails, portal invitations and the {portal_url} placeholder switch to it. A domain only goes active once the CNAME is verified to point at your workspace, so nobody can claim a hostname that is not theirs. If your DNS runs on Cloudflare, keep the record on DNS only so the target stays visible.

02 Why this feature matters

Built for high-speed ISP operations

Subscribers See Your Company

Invoices, receipts, emails and the portal carry your name, logo and contact details instead of a vendor brand.

One Brand Across Every Channel

The same company profile drives the portal header, the public status page, the coverage checker and the invoice PDF.

Documents That Fit Your Market

Paper size, PDF language, date format, currency position and every label can be set to match local billing conventions.

Your Own Web Address

Customers reach the portal at a hostname on your domain, and the certificate is issued and renewed without any work on your side.

03 Use cases

04 FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can the customer portal run on my own domain?
Yes. Add one CNAME record pointing a hostname such as portal.yourisp.com at your ispbox.net address and connect it in Settings > Company. ISPbox registers the hostname and the certificate is issued automatically, the portal, status page and coverage checker answer there, and your ispbox.net address keeps working alongside it. No extra plan is required.
Does my logo appear on invoices and in the portal?
Yes. Upload a PNG or SVG under Settings > Company and it prints on invoice PDFs, where the designer controls whether it shows and at which size. The same logo heads the customer portal, the public status page and the coverage checker.
Can I change the wording of the emails clients receive?
Yes. The portal invitation, invoice email, payment reminders, blocked service and payment received notices, failed autopay, data usage warnings and incident updates each have an editor with placeholders, and each can have its own version per client language. You can send yourself a test before saving.
Can client email come from our own mailbox?
Yes. Connect Microsoft 365 or an SMTP server under Settings > Mail with your own sender name and address, and mail to clients goes out from it. Text messages use your own Twilio account.
