Keep your accounting in sync automatically. Connect QuickBooks Online and ISPBox pushes customers, invoices and payments across, with an initial backfill and account mapping.

QuickBooks settings: connection status, company details, sync health and configuration tabs

The QuickBooks integration keeps your accounting in sync automatically: ISPBox pushes customers, invoices and payments to QuickBooks Online, so you do not double-enter anything. It is set up under Settings > QuickBooks (needs settings manage).

1. Connecting your company

Click Connect QuickBooks and sign in with your Intuit account to link your QuickBooks Online company over OAuth. Once connected, the top of the page shows your connection status, company details (name, currency, last sync) and sync health - how many records need attention, failed or hit a conflict.

2. What syncs

After connecting, ISPBox mirrors your billing into QuickBooks:

  • Customers - your clients become QuickBooks customers.
  • Invoices - issued invoices are pushed with their line items.
  • Payments - recorded payments are applied against the matching invoice.

An initial sync backfills your existing history in the background - you can leave the page while it runs, and its status (queued, started, completed) is shown on the Configuration tab.

3. Mapping and configuration

The Configuration tab lets you line ISPBox up with your QuickBooks chart of accounts - a fallback item, a default tax code, and which QuickBooks payment methods to use for manual vs. Stripe payments. The Packages and Categories tabs map your plans and item categories to QuickBooks items, and the Issues tab lists anything that needs a human decision (for example a customer that matches more than one QuickBooks record).

Refresh the QuickBooks reference lists once so ISPBox can store your items, tax codes and payment methods for the dropdowns.

4. Disconnecting

You can disconnect at any time - your ISPBox data is untouched, and syncing simply stops until you reconnect. Nothing already in QuickBooks is deleted.
